Burna Boy’s Afro-Moonwalk Dancing gets incorporated into the video game Fortnite.
Damini Ogulu, often known as Burna Boy, has accomplished a new milestone in the popular online game Fortnite as his popular Afro-Moonwalk dance gets infused into the game.
A 2017 release, Fortnite is a multiplayer online action game with three different game types. It has 100 people competing to be the last one standing as part of the gameplay.
Afro-Moonwalk, a dance that Burna Boy, a Grammy-winning Nigerian singer, is known for doing, has been added to the game as an emote as part of an update for the occasion.
An emote enables a player to carry out a brief action that requires the player character to move in order to act it out; in this case, it is the popular Micheal Jackson-inspired dance.
Characters in the game are now able to perform the renowned Afro-moonwalk of the Afrobeats Superstar.
This is not the first time Burna Boy will be involved with a popular Game. In 2020, the African Giant partnered with the video game series, Grand Theft Auto, GTA to compose a soundtrack titled “Gettin Money” for their Cayo Perico Heist game.
Taking to Twitter to announce the partnership with the video game organizers, Burna Boy wrote;
“Excited to partner with @rockstargames for The Cayo Perico Heist in GTA Online can’t wait for you all to get into it, and the big tune! “Gettin’ Money” ?.”
