Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, better known by her stage name Ayra Starr, recently responded to a trending tweet that said she was progressively displacing Beyonce, the American music diva.

The Twitter user claimed that Ayra Starr is gradually replacing Beyoncé as a result of her music achievements.

“Ayra Starr is slowly replacing Beyonce,” the bird app user opined.

In response, Ayra Starr distanced herself from such a praise, claiming that some online users like putting her up for drags.

    She wrote:

“Una go just dey set me up for draggings lol”.

    See the tweet below:

Beyonce’s ardent supporters, referred to as Beyhives, are notable for the fact that they do not disrespect their idol and do not support comparisons. Any famous person who is likened to Queen B constantly gets viciously dragged.

In related news, Ayra Starr has opened up on her greatest desire, which is to perform at the Super Bowl.

Ayra Starr visited Kenya last week to perform at the “Shoke Shoke” Festival at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC), Nairobi.

The “Rush” Hitmaker performed at the festival, which was held on March 3 and 4, 2023.

She headlined the festival alongside award-winning rapper Khaligraph Jones, Mejja, The OnlyRosa, and Boutruoss.

During one of her media rounds, the singer was asked about the biggest stages she will like to perform on.

Ayra revealed that despite performing at Coachella, she would love to perform there again. She also mentioned the iconic concert venue, O2 as another stage she would love to perform in.

Then the biggest stage she would love to headline is the Superbowl Halftime show, one of the world’s biggest events.
