Fans respond to Asake’s December concert’s exorbitant amount.
Asake, who is currently riding the crest of the Nigerian music scene, drew criticism on Twitter after the price of tickets for his concert in Lagos in December was made public.
The December performance, which is slated to take place on December 22 at the Eko Convention Center, has sparked debate on Twitter. The cost of a VIP (standing) ticket, according to the concert promoters, is N70,000 per person.
The 70k ticket seems to be the least expensive as the other seats go for 3M, 4M, 8M and 10M respectively.

Many fans were prompted by this to wonder why they should pay 70,000 Naira to stand when they might choose Regular. They were informed that those who purchased VIP Standing would have front-row seats for Asake’s performance.
