Chris Brown Responds to Winning the “International Artiste Of The Year” category at the 2022 Headies
American R’n’B superstar, Christopher Maurice Brown, also known as Chris Brown, has responded to his recent headies victory.
The annual award ceremony, which primarily recognises achievement in the Nigerian music business and beyond, celebrated its 15th edition on Sunday, September 4th, 2022, at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta, Georgia, United States.
Breezy, who has collaborated with a significant number of Afrobeats artists like Wizkid, Davido, Ayo Jay, Rema & Lojay, was nominated in the “International Artiste Of The Year” category, a new voting award category for a non-African artist or group with the most remarkable success and effect on Afrobeats.
The singer, who was nominated alongside international stars like Beyonce, Drake, Ed Sheeran, Justin Bieber, and Nas, was declared the winner on Sunday night.
After winning, the singer took to his Instagram page on Monday, September 5th 2022, to appreciate the headies for the recognition.
