Asake has aroused the fury of Ghanaians over his recent show in the West African country.

The self-proclaimed ‘Mr Money‘ is trending after Ghanaians dragged him through the mud for wasting their time and failing to deliver on his promises.

It appears that Asake received a huge sum of money to play at the Garage lounge and night pub in Ghana. When the singer finally arrived, he only performed for 15 minutes because he had been late.

Attendees at the performance reported that Asake kept them waiting for five hours before finally appearing and performing three songs in less than fifteen minutes.

They also discussed how Asake and his group stormed off stage indignantly after being confronted about how brief his performance was.

You want to see asake, now it’s 5:42, you’re stuck in traffic at underbridge, attempting to reach Pokuase before going to work at Cantonments.

Meanwhile, following the backlash over the musician’s lateness, The Garage apologised to patrons and promised: “to do better by you next time.”

there’s at least 345673 artistes in ghana who 300 cedis for a solo performance would make more sense for than asake but hey

Asake was in Ghana from like afternoon so sup? You people just like to waste unnecessary time. He’s been paid to perform as his job, so why are you acting like people are there to see a god.

Asake also went to Ghana and didn't show up early, then came and went almost immediately.

Do you all see a pattern with your favs work ethic?

They should make an example of him, maybe others will learn.

Afrobeats is just starting to do well but look at the nonsense.
