Nigerian rapper and songwriter Olanrewaju Ogunmefun, better known by his stage name Vector, has revealed why fans will not accept his buddy, M.I Abaga’s new name.

Recall, Mp3bullet.ng reported that In July 2022, M.I announced a change of stage name from MI to The Guy following the release of his new single.

Vector claimed in his submission that M.I new name, The Guy, won’t work for him as fans will forever stick to knowing and addressing him as MI.
Vector made this known during a live television interview when asked for his opinion.
He said:
“I wish him good luck with the transition from the old name to the new one but I think it will really not work. We will accept it but they will call him MI regardless.”
