Veteran Singer, Ebenezer Obey, Loses 48-Year-Old Son
Legendary Nigerian juju maestro, Chief Ebenezer Obey has been thrown into mourning as one of his sons, Olalekan Obey Fabiyi dies at 48.
According to gathered information, Olayinka, 48, passed away on August 29th on a Friday and was buried on August 30th.
Seun Oloketuyi, the creator of the Best of Nollywood Awards, revealed this on his social media page.
However, the cause of Olayinka’s death has not been revealed.
Sadly, this is not the first time the juju maestro has been put into a grieving period. On August 23, 2011, the 80-year-old man lost his 67-year-old wife, Lady Juliana Obey-Fabiyi.
Three sons and a girl were born throughout the 48 years of marriage, which was a blessing.

Ebenezer Obey, often known as Chief Commander, is a pillar of Nigerian music who began his career in the mid-1950s.
In April, Mp3bullet.ng reported that the Chief Commander revealed in detail what actually gives him joy on his 80th birthday.
The singer says as he clocks 80, his greatest dream is to impact more lives, especially the Nigerian youths.
In an interview in Lagos, Obey said he would like to speak about the lives of Nigerian adolescents in light of current events.
The Chief Commander stated that he will continue to focus his efforts on empowering more youths, which he finds motivating.
As he rededicates his life to God for bigger exploits, he stated he will remain grateful to God for ordering his steps in the proper direction in the last 80 years of his life.
