On Wednesday, July 20, Peter Okoye, better known by his stage as Mr. P, addressed the controversy surrounding the bishops who were there when Kashim Shettima was unveiled as Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s running mate.
When several bishops showed up at the ceremony, Nigerians had a strong reaction and referred to them as phoney bishops.
Even Nigerians were able to explain away their scepticism after watching videos of men disguising up as bishops for the occasion.
Videos of persons dressing up as bishops for the occasion even helped Nigerians to justify their scepticism.

Peter Okoye while reacting to the stunt took to his Twitter handle to assert that with the way people fake things these days, he might be in his house one day and see P-Square performing live on stage.
“The way dem day fake people dis days eh! I fit day my house dey watch Live TV and I go see Psquare dey perform for stage,” he wrote.
