Laycon, Praiz unveiled as members of the Recording Academy, Class of 2022
Nigerian Artists, Laycon and Praiz, have been inducted as members of the Recording Academy, and organisers of the prestigious Grammy Awards.
Praiz took to his official Instagram page to announce the news on Tuesday, 28th of June 2022.
The Project Fame alum who was inducted into the Recording Academy 2022 class said he feels honoured by the recognition.
He wrote;
“I’m honoured to be part of the new @recordingacademy member class and join countless creators and professionals who serve, celebrate and advocate for our music community year-round #IAmTheAcademy.”

Laycon took to his Twitter to share his own good news writing;

This comes exactly one year after Nigerian songstress, Niniola, Fela Kuti’s Grandson, Made Kuti and DJ Spinall became official members of The Recording Academy.
They were inducted into the Grammy Recording Academy with the class of 2021.
