DJ Cuppy and Rema disclose their best vintage Nigerian music.
Nigerian singers, DJ Cuppy and Rema have shared their favourite classic Nigerian songs respectively.
The two were guests on the #WhoWeBe Podcast where they asked about their favourite Nigerian oldies.
When the host stated that hers was Olufunmi by the music group, Styl-Plus, Cuppy jumped in stating it was also her favourite.
She and the host sang part of the song in excitement while Rema looked on.
Rema on the hand stated that his favourite oldie was Joroni by the late Sir Victor Uwaifo who is also from Benin like him.
He stated that the song made his childhood while Cuppy advised him to sample the song one day. Cuppy also revealed another favourite of hers was “Konko Below” by Lagbaja.

The host in response revealed she used to be scared of him because of his mask.
When Cuppy reveals that Rema also wears a mask, the host stated that it was different because she knows what the “Calm Down” crooner looks like but has never seen Lagbaja’s face.
