Wizkid and Skepta
Since Skepta hopped on Wizkid’s mega-hit ‘Ojuelegba‘ in 2015, the two have collaborated on two songs: ‘Bad Energy‘ and, more recently, ‘Longtime.’
The two have maintained a positive working relationship, and there was talk of a prospective joint project in 2020.
Skepta has already been on Wizkid’s most recent album, “Made In Lagos,” but a joint album is still a possibility that may or may not materialize.
Wizkid & Burna Boy
Wizkid and Burna Boy have been friends for a long time, and their friendship has recently resulted in two tracks, ‘Ginger‘ and ‘Ballon D’or.’
The success of the singles, as well as their growing friendship, has sparked discussions about collaborating on a project.
Fans were enthralled by the concept, as expected. However, a collaboration between Wizkid and Burna Boy does not appear to be conceivable in the near future, as both musicians have new albums coming out in the second half of the year.
Perhaps the Afrobeats powerhouses will decide to delve into their friendship and song collection at some point in the future to offer fans what they desire.
Naira Marley and Zlatan
Naira Marley and Zlatan, two indigenous rappers and street pop artists, have openly maintained a passionate bromance that extends to their music. There were rumours in 2020 that the two superstars would collaborate on an EP.
The notion of a collaborative album featuring the Marlian President and the Zanku Master was enthusiastically accepted by fans. However, like past promised collaborative EPs, a Naira Marley and Zlatan collaboration have yet to materialize, and it may never do so.
Davido and Focalistic
Following the success of Focalistic’s ‘Ke Star‘ remix with Davido, the two collaborated on ‘Champion Song.’
The success of both singles, as well as their growing friendship, has sparked talk of a collaborative EP between the South African and the Nigerian.
The revelation was then confirmed by Davido and Focalistic during an Instagram live session, which added to the excitement. The combined EP has been promised for over a year, and fans are still waiting.

Davido and Kizz Daniel
Davido and Kizz Daniel are the latest artists to hint at the likelihood of collaborating on an EP. They recently teased the release of a joint project by the two hitmakers on Twitter.
The announcement has sparked enthusiasm in the industry, with fans ecstatic at the prospect of a collaboration between Kizz Daniel and Davido. Their performance on ‘One Ticket’ hinted at what fans may expect from a potential collaboration.
Only time will tell if the collaborative EP will become a reality or if it will join the pantheon of proposed EPs that will likely never see the light of day.
