A frustrated fan has accused artist Wande Coal of not following through on an N1 million promise made in relation to a music video he made.

He claimed the singer made an N1m promise to anyone who has the highest views on social media with his song titled ‘gentility’.

The fan added screenshots of the promises by Wande Coal, asking him to redeem his image.

    He wrote:

“Wande Coal, the story no clear. You actually promised a million naira for the best video for your Gentility song. Bro I got over 3.5 million views on this same song, that’s one of my videos because I did several which is the highest views on TikTok for that Gentility song. Bro your song hit Top 1 for Apple music, Baba you don cash out.

“Baba we no hear anything for the money, I say make I ask how far wetin dey sup about the money, the story no clear bros. Clear us, where the money dey because na me get highest views o and I get highest likes. Where the money dey bros?”

‘Gentility’ was released in 2019, but it didn’t get a lot of attention until TikTok users started making viral shocking videos with it.

Since then, the song by Wande Coal has dominated music charts as well as gotten back on airplay.
