AQ, Blaqbonez, Jesse Jagz, Ladipoe, Payper Corleone, and Vector were among the rap artists nominated for the Lyricist on the Roll, a non-voting category for the rap artist with the best lyrical depth and performance on a single song or album.
M.I. Abaga was not nominated in the category despite featuring on the “final cypher,” which got AQ and Blaqbonez nominated, as well as “Crown of Clay,” which won Vector a nomination.
Despite the fact that he was not nominated, M.I took to his Twitter page to show support for the lyricist on the roll list.
