Rema speaks on his relationship with Joeboy, Omah Lay, and Fireboy DML.

The singer made this known in an interview with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu.
Mavin princes Divine Ikubor, better known as Rema, has revealed how he relates with the industry’s leading young acts; Joeboy, Omah Lay, Oxlade, and Fireboy DML.
He stated that they keep in touch occasionally, but due to a lack of effective communication, they find themselves questioning their friendship.
Rema stated this when he appeared as a guest on Rubbin Minds anchored by media personality, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu.

He also said that he looks forward to collaborating with Joeboy, Buju (BNXN) and Omah Lay.
According to the ‘Calm Down’ crooner he has already collaborated with Fireboy and Starboy Terri.

In other news, The Mavin princes revealed the Nigerian artists that inspired his music.
Rema, who has previously been accused of sounding like Big Wiz, has finally admitted that he was inspired by his senior colleague Wizkid.
The singer was asked which artists had influenced his music in a quick TikTok interview, and he listed Afrobeat pioneer Fela and award-winning artist, Wizkid.
He also added Burna Boy and his label’s boss, Don Jazzy.
