Jaywon discloses what fans should expect from his forthcoming album.
Nigerian singer, Jaywon has opened up on details about his forthcoming album and what fans should be expecting from it.
Jaywon was a recent guest on a show with the radio station, City105.5fm where he spoke about his forthcoming album, his plans for his career at the present and what fans should be expecting from him.
The “This Year” crooner speaking about his album revealed the project can’t be compared to any work as it is focused on the African Market.
he also disclosed that most of the collaborations on the project feature artists outside the shores of Nigeria.
In his words;
“My album is not everyone’s mate in Nigeria, it’s an album that’s focused on the African market as it features a lot of artists outside Nigeria.”
According to the singer, the album is titled “JAHBAHLEE” and was initially supposed to drop 29th of April but with the look of things, it may be postponed.

This would be his fourth studio album after he dropped “Oba Orin” in 2016. The singer has released some songs, “Zelle” which has Portable featured on the remix, “Sugar” featuring Jaywillz and “Las Las” which features Seyi Vibez.
Iledare Oluwajuwonlo, better known by his stage name Jaywon, is an Afrobeats artist from Nigeria. He’s also a singer, songwriter and performer.
In 2009, Jaywon bagged a chance to perform at the packed Kennis Music Easter Fiesta, he made a huge impact and the Organisers of the event immediately stroke an interest in him. Later that same year, he signed a record deal with the company.
In December 2012, he released the ‘Odun Yi (This Year)‘ single to critical and commercial acclaim.
After going indie, he released his anticipated third album titled ‘Oba Orin‘ after four singles featuring Vector, Reminisce and Reekado Banks. This is the follow up to the two albums he released on Kennis Music.
In 2020, he released a mixtape titled “Aje” which includes the hit song of the same name and “Inside Life” featuring Umu Obiligbo.
