American rapper Jay Z has created a new playlist on Tidal titled “Block Vibes” which includes songs by African stars Wizkid, Tems, Ladipoe, and Buju.
Nigerian music stars Wizkid and Tems were among the musicians featured in Jay Z Block Vibes’ playlist on Tidal, which he developed personally.
This was shared via Instagram on Thursday, the 2nd of December 2021.
Surprisingly, Buju was featured twice on this new playlist. Tems had her song, Free Mind off her For Broken Ears EP featured on the playlist.

The Afro-fusion Buju had two huge features this year, with Starboy’s Mood and Ladipoe’s Feeling both appearing on the new playlist.
African music has gotten more popular in recent months, and it’s still encouraging to see prominent acts like Big Wiz and Tems included in the American rapper Tidal playlist.
