Wizkid might have given fans a memorable performance at his O2 show, however, he didn’t forget to pay his respect to the Late Virgil Abloh.
Wizkid, whose real name is Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, paid respect to Virgil Abloh, the late CEO of the Milan-based label Off-White during his show at the O2.
The death of the American-trained architect was announced on November 28th, 2021, after he had been battling cancer for several years.
The announcement was first published on Luis Vuitton’s official Twitter page and Virgil Abloh’s Instagram page. The American designer was reported to have died following a long battle with cardiac angiosarcoma, a rare and deadly form of cancer.
LVMH wrote on Twitter;
“LVMH, Louis Vuitton, and Off White are devastated to announce the passing of Virgil Abloh, on Sunday, November 28th, of cancer, which he had been battling privately for several years.”

While performing at the O2 Arena during his “Made In Lagos” tour, the “Essence” hitmaker, Wizkid paid his tribute to the late fashion designer.
