The Grammy is an award presented by the Recording Academy to recognize achievement in the music industry of the United States and beyond. Held annually, its trophy depicts a gilded gramophone.
To present the nominees for the 2022 Grammy Awards, Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason Jr. and Board of Trustees chair Tammy Hurt will be joined by singers including South Korean boy band BTS, American diva H.E.R, Maneskin, Tayla Parx, Jon Batiste, and Carly Pearce.
Recall, Nigerian Afrobeats poster boy Wizkid, whose ‘Made in Lagos’ album has gone on a global run since its release, is expected to bag at least one Grammy nomination after being considered for ten categories.

The categories include Album of the Year, Global Music Album, Engineered Album (Dro), Song of the Year (Essence), Record of the Year, Global Music Performance, Music Video, Melodic Rap Performance (Long Time), Best Rap, and Producer of the Year (P2J).
The nominees will be broadcast live on Grammy.com and throughout the Recording Academy’s social media channels, including Twitter, TikTok, and Facebook pages, by 6 p.m. West African time.
