Shatta Wale, a man of many skills, has disclosed his plans to leave music and pursue a career as a full-time gym instructor.
Shatta Wale, who appears to be fed up with the various controversies that have dogged his career, has announced his intention to abandon music and pursue a job as a gym instructor.
Following his most recent battle with the IGP during the celebrity meeting with the police, the award-winning and controversial dancehall performer made this statement on Facebook.
it could be recalled that the Dancehall star became a topic on social media after he stormed out of a meeting with the IGP and other top Police Officials during their meeting with creative arts stakeholders.
During the meeting, Shatta Wale is said to have pleaded with the IGP on behalf of all the country’s movie and music stars to let them enjoy their creative life without being stressed.
According to the dancehall performer, some Ghanaians are still caught in the precolonial mindset that a person’s worth and character are determined by their appearance.
He revealed that some police officers have this mindset, which he believes should be changed because it stifles the creativity of entertainers.
Unfortunately, his plea fell on deaf ears, as the IGP reaffirmed that the law will be applied without regard for fear or favour.
