Nigerian Songbird, Simisola ‘Simi’ Kosoko has shared some interesting details about the making of her new single, Woman.
Simi revealed in a recent post on her official social media page that she had recorded the background vocals for ‘Woman,’ but that they didn’t feel right to her.
So the mother of one enlisted the help of a handful of her friends who could hold a note and not go off-key.
“#Woman FUN FACT – I had recorded all the backing vocals for this song but they just didn’t seem right to me. It was too silky and sweet, so I called some of my friends that could, at least, hold a note without going off key (except for @efezino_ awon iyen nkorin) and told them to come and record back up for me.

It was something. Also, I be a tyrant in the studio. I don’t like rubbish, that’s why Kunle stop letting me recording him. Lmao”.
‘Woman” which was released on Friday is now dominating streaming platforms and currently has a challenge on Tik-Tok that is blowing up.
