Jonzing World act, Ruger has explained the inspiration behind his infamous eye patch.
Since Ruger debuted at the beginning of 2021, many fans have been curious about the eye patch which he wears on his left eye.
While it has been reported that the “Bounce” hitmaker doesn’t have any eye disease, the singer in an interview with media personality, Adesope Olajide shared why he wears one.
According to Ruger, the eye patch is inspired by his name which means ‘gun.’ He said that the deadliest shooters aren’t close-range shooters but snipers.
He stated that when snipers want to shoot, they close one eye in order to hit their mark.

When asked if his female fans were in love with the patch, the singer said that at first they didn’t understand it but with time alongside his music, his hair and looks, they fell in love with the trademark.
Recall, that Mp3bullet.ng reported that Ruger shared how his boss D’Prince met and signed him to Jonzing records.
According to him, he used to repair phones in computer village and at the same time drop freestyle son Instagram.
D’prince who came across his page contacted him on Instagram and from there, the rest is history.
