Mavin Records boss, Don Jazzy has opened up about his relationship life and revealed that everyone he has dated in the past knew about his marital status.
Don Jazzy speaking in an interview with BBC News pidgin on May 2, said his marital status wasn’t known publicly despite everyone he dated knew about it. According to him, no one felt the need to go around telling people about his marital status.
Jazzy further shared his opinion on marriage, he said he sometimes wonders if we are supposed to get married as he is so much into his music and job now and that is the major reason why his first marriage didn’t work out aside from the fact that he married at a very young age.
The Mavin Records boss also added that no one is currently pressuring him to get married since he let the cat out of the bag in respect to his failed marriage. Also, Don Jazzy stated that he doesn’t have a child anywhere that he knows off.
He also revealed that male artists have it easier in the industry than female artists. He revealed in the interview how he got the opportunity to go through the phone of one of his female artists under his record label and got shocked over the messages he saw.

To his shock, he saw that there were many producers, directors, television directors, and many others asking the artist to have an intimate relationship with them because that is the only way they could help her in the music industry.
He explained that women find it difficult in the industry because some music directors and producers sometimes demand an intimate time with the female artist before helping them.
He registered his displeasure over people in the entertainment sector try to take advantage of female artists.
He gave two suggestions to change the mindset of the Nigerian music industry. He first suggested that the male child should undergo proper training properly by their parents and secondly female artists who get sex proposals from music directors should expose them.
