The Weekend has announced that he will re-release his debut mixtape House Of Balloons with original samples for its 10th anniversary.
Canadian singer, The Weekend reveals his debut mixtape, House Of Balloons, will come to streaming services with approved original samples for the first time this Sunday (March 21) to celebrate its 10th anniversary.
Taking to his social media pages on the 17th of March, he revealed this!
His tweet;
“On Sunday for its 10 year anniversary I’m releasing House of Balloons on all streaming platforms for the first time in it’s original incarnation. With the original mixes and samples.”

The original House of Balloons was released for free on The Weeknd’s website on March 21, 2011, and its songs would be posted subsequently on his YouTube channel
It had an Aaliyah sample on “What You Need.”
It also contained a Cocteau Twins sample on “The Knowing.”
Likewise, a sample of Siouxsie and the Banshees’ “Happy House” on “House of Balloons / Glass Table Girls.”
In another news, The Weekend has announced a limited-edition vinyl with reimagined cover art by New York artist Daniel Arsham.
