Burna Boy reacts to threats made by South Africans against him.
A few months after condemning South Africa for massive xenophobic attacks on other African citizens especially Nigerians, Burna boy sets to visit the said county.
We can vividly remember that the African giant promised never to set foot into the country until the mess is fixed.
He also got into a fight with AKA, a South African rapper, because of the same issue, and the latter requested a public apology from Burna Boy to his country.
Following these incidents, a music show “Africans unite concert ” was organized in South Africa as a medium to promote love and quench the inhumane attacks, with Burna Boy as the Headliner
Burna Boy’s planned visit to SA has however stirred mixed reactions from South Africans, of which the majority are not happy about it.
Just recently, sone group of singers known as “Tshwane Collective” wrote a petition against Burna Boy, and protests were made openly
Things, however, got worse when many SA citizens took to Twitter to threaten the “Anybody” singer on visiting the country.
Despite all these Burna Boy remained unmoved a bit as he replied them also tweeting that he was not afraid.
He wrote;
“Thank you
@Julius_S_Malema
Africa must Unite and I am willing to die for that cause just like your brother. I look forward to meeting you.”
Apparently, Julius is another South African who also wanted peace and Urged Burna Boy to go ahead and visit the country, promising no harm will come to him.
Burna Boy also added more tweets talking about the issue at hand and how South Africans were trying to accuse him of the Originator of Xenophobia.
He wrote;
“saying I mislead people? And I made up the Xenophobic attacks and I should apologise. Really? Lol. In 2015 Even I was a victim of the misguided hate so I know. Go and demand apologies from your REAL Enemies. I am not your Enemy. I will not be called “foreigner” I am AFRICAN”
Further on, he urged Africans to unite no matter what.
His words;
“please my people, there should never be a South Africa vs Nigeria war or any African country vs African country war Ever. we must unite by any means for the future of our children n their children. I want a united African passport that will be as powerful as the ???????? passport.”
Soon after his tweet, another controversial South African made a tweet still threatening and warning Burna Boy not to set foot on South Africa.
Burna Boy, however, replied that they couldn’t stop him except they took his life.
He said:
“Lol. I’m coming and you and anyone against it are gonna have to kill me to stop me.”

Hmm, now that’s patriotic as the singer only wants nothing but peace.
We, however, pray that everything is resolved peacefully and no damage done.
Let love rule y’all!!!.
