Tension has risen between American singer, Demi Lovato and Nigerian born rapper, Wale Folarin over fellow rapper, 21 Savage‘s arrest.

21 Savage was arrested by the US immigration for overstaying his visa and claiming to be a citizen of the US.

The tension which led to Lovato deleting her Twitter, began when she shared a meme related to the rappers newly revealed British citizenship.

“This how 21 Savage be writing his verses,” she tweeted.

The ‘Sober‘ singer however mentioned that she was not trying to mock 21 Savage as she had previously tweeted that: “So far 21 savage memes have been my favorite part of the Super Bowl.”

“FYI…“this is the s— I’m laughing at.. not the fact that anyone is getting deported.”

In response to her tweet, the ‘It’s Complicated‘ singer wrote:  “Why is somebody freedom funny… I don’t get the joke.”

He also wrote another tweet, referring to her drug over-dose issue.

“A lot of people were sending you love light, prayers etc. When people were making jokes about u at a rough time. A lot of people. Bless up.”

Lovato hereafter deleted her Twitter, taking to Instagram to accuse Wale shading her because she had not replied his tweets.

“Wale just salty I never replied to his desperate tweets years ago,” Lovato wrote.

“Still ain’t gon disrespect you .. still praying for you Demi… I don’t kick people when they down. Go queen,” Wale responded.

Lovato also apologized to anyone she may have hurt with her comments.
