Mp3bullet.ng presents top Nollywood Stars that have played Video Vixens on Nigerian Songs.
When it comes to playing Video Vixens on Nigerian Songs, Nollywood stars have it on lockdown.
Crossing over from one part of Nigeria’s entertainment industry to another might be a big hit or a significant flop.
However, Nollywood Stars have found a way to show their worth in the music industry, not by singing, but by showcasing their acting skills in Nigerian Music videos.
Here are some Nollywood stars that have appeared on Nigerian music videos.

Funke Akindele- Wizkid’s Pakurumo
In 2011, Wizkid released the video for one of the best songs, “Pakurumo” from his debut album, Superstar, back when the “kid” part of his name was still valid.
With an ensemble cast that comprised Lynxx, Banky W in disguise, Mo’Cheddah, and Skales, the video’s star ended up being Funke Akindele aka Jenifa. It was only natural, given that her name is the first on the roll call when Wiz begins singing.
Alexx Ekubo- Yemi Alade’s Johnny
The Visuals of Yemi Alade’s breakthrough song, “Johnny” was one of the song’s best selling points. Alexx Ekubo plays the role of the titular character who is being hunted down by the various women who he has broken their hearts.
Beverly Osu- Ice Prince’s Oleku
We all thought we’d never hear anything finer when this song came out in 2010. It is seen as the pinnacle of good Nigerian music.
Oleku still gets the club pumped up over ten years later. if you pay great attention to the video, you might notice a recognizable figure dressed in a short blue dress. That’s Beverly Osu before the fame.
Nkem Owoh- Timaya’s Money
If Nollywood has taught us anything, it’s that one day you’ll be lifted out of poverty, and all your detractors would scream “had I known.” So it’s only natural that when Timaya wanted to use this fictional concept in his music video for Money in 2016, he enlisted the help of one of Nollywood’s most famous actors, Nkem Owoh.
Yvonne Jegede- Djinee’s Ego
This was once the heartbroken song that had Nigerians by the throat. Down to the white singlet, Djinee was giving R&B authenticity.
A Young Yvonne Jegede plays the role of the titular character, Ego who Djinee sings about.
Bryan Okwara- Waje and Tiwa Savage’s Onye
The video for Waje and Tiwa Savage’s collaboration portrays the two women competing for Bryan Okwara’s heart in a “choose me” race.
Tiwa even goes to the trouble of pounding yam for him. Bryan leaves both women for sugar mummy Omawunmi and her jeep in the Kemi Adetiba-directed video.
Beverly Osu- Kizz Daniel’s Madu
This would be the second time Beverly Osu would be appearing on this list. Apparently, she is a favourite when it comes to having an actress on a music video.
Unlike her role in the Oleku music video, Beverly takes on a more wild role on Kizz Daniel’s Madu. I mean she used Kizz to break a whole wall, and the heat she and Kizz Daniel generated, it left fans blushing hard.
