World Cup 2022: See Records Broken in the Game Between Germany and Japan.
The first round of group games at the 2022 FIFA World Cup hosted in Qatar has been filled with a lot of excitement and more surprises.
In the first game of the group stage, Japan stunned four-time World Cup champion Germany. Two late goals from the Japanese in the final 15 minutes of the game gave the Asian team a winning start to their World Cup campaign.

For the first time in their history, Japan won a World Cup match in which they conceded first (D2 L7). Germany had lost a World Cup game after leading at halftime for the first time since 1978 (2-3 versus Austria), after going unbeaten in their previous 21 such games before the game against Japan.
Germany plays Spain in a must-win game in their next group game before playing Costa Rica in their final group game.
