Xavi speaks about Barcelona’s Europa League play-off opponent Manchester United.
Barcelona boss Xavi has made an angry reaction as Barcelona are drawn against Manchester United in the Europa League play-off.
Xavi claims that after being paired with Manchester United in the Europa League play-offs, his team has been given the “most difficult opponent.”
The Catalans, who placed third in their Champions League group stage, will face Erik ten Hag’s team in February for a spot in the competition’s last 16.
The tie will see Frenkie de Jong come up against the side that pursued him for three months last summer.

The Spanairds finished behind Bayern Munich and Inter Milan in their group, which was by far the toughest in the group stages.
And Xavi claims that his team has once again had “no luck” in the Europa League draw after being drawn with the toughest opponent still in the campaign.
‘It is the most difficult opponent once again. But we will look forward to it,’ said Xavi,
‘They are a historic side, they have grown a lot with Ten Hag, they have great players. It’s the worst draw we could have got. Once again. No luck.’
