Zlatan explains why close friend; Naira Marley is not on his debut album.
During the listening party of his debut album titled; *Zanku”, Zlatan opened our eyes to some truths.
“Zanku“ which is also the title of one of his hit songs, is an acronym formulated by the rapper himself which means “Zlatan abeg no kill us”
The listening party took place on the 31st of October, before the release of the album on the 1st of November.
This album consists of 17 tracks in which he features top acts like ; Tiwa Savage, Davido, Patoranking, Barry Jhay, and others.
Talented producers like; Rexxie, Speroach Beatz, Kiddominant, Spells, Miraqulous, P prime also worked on the album, which was mixed by Spyrit mix.
People were however anxious as to why his close friend; Naira Marley, wasn’t featured in the album.
Zlatan ensured to clear the air, during the course of the event, and stated that Naira Marley was not featured in the album, for no reason.
He further went on to say;
“Everybody knows he is my friend but this is my selection. It is not really about what people have to say despite we are friends, I have my way and I have my selections. It has nothing to do about our friendship, this is just the Zanku Album and it is my selection. ”
