Nigerian Singer, Yemi Alade defended Beyonce‘s choice not to tour Africa yet and spoke on the illogical argument of the “Black is King” crooner being a “culture vulture”.
Beyonce has oftentimes being accused of being a culture vulture who preys on African Culture to use as aesthetics for her music videos.
This argument got heated when she dropped the Black Is King visual album early in the year. However, Yemi Alade explained why that isn’t true.
During an Interview with Beatfm Lagos, Yemi said that Beyonce has a black lineage and therefore can’t be a vulture if she is using the same ancestry she is from.
Then on the issue of Beyonce refusing to go on a tour in Africa, Yemi used herself as an example of why that won’t work.

According to the “True Love” singer, She did a tour in Nigeria seven years ago and almost lost her life due to bad roads.
Adding that Beyonce loves perfection and has a standard that Africa doesn’t have a system to cater to, this would make it hard for her to consider doing a tour here.
