Yemi Alade has taken to social media to cry out as her fans keep besieging her page for giveaways.
If one opens a celebrity’s post, it’s not uncommon to see someone begging for money on their page. This seems to be the case in Yemi Alade‘s case. The singer has cried out after seeing so many people dropping account numbers in her posts.
Earlier today, Runtown and Peruzzi did giveaways on Twitter with thousands of people dropping their account numbers on their pages.
Now it seems like Twitter users have come for Yemi Alade to beg money from but the ‘shekere’ singer is not having it. Concerning the issue she wrote,
The amount of account numbers I am seeing, you would think I was a bank. I will do my best to give randomly to as many as I can
As the coronavirus pandemic causes panic globally, countries are beginning to enforce lockdown with Nigeria joining the group due to the increasing rate of confirmed cases of the virus.
The lockdown which has affected most people especially the working class financially could explain why more people are beginning to turn to celebrities for Financial help.
