Woman regrets not giving Asake her phone number before he rose to fame.

A Nigerian woman has said that she once had the opportunity to give famed Nigerian musician Asake her phone number, but she declined.

The woman who refused to offer Asake her phone number has now resorted to Twitter to express her disappointment.

When the YBNL signee had previously contacted the Twitter user via Instagram DM, he wasn’t popular at that time. She declined to give him her phone number when he asked for it.

The Twitter user has since published details of their conversation with Asake.

She said that she ought to have offered him her phone number in the description.

In other news, Asake, whose real name is Ahmed Asake Ololade, has revealed how long it took him to make his latest album, “Mr. Money With The Vibe”

In order to maintain his illustrious run, Asake published his debut studio album, “Mr. Money With The Vibe” via YBNL/EMPIRE.

As previously reported, the Grammy-winning Nigerian superstar Burna Boy and the American rapper Russ both make guest appearances on the album.

Speaking with popular media personality Ehiz Dadaboy, who asked how long it took for the street-hop act to record his debut album, Asake made it known that there was no particular time span in which to record the project.

Asake claimed that his recording process is not predetermined or scheduled as it depends on his mood.

According to him, there are days when he wakes up and feels like recording seven songs at once while other times he can go an entire month without creating a single song.

He went on to state that his debut album’s recording process was made very easy with the help of the iconic rapper and his label owner, Olamide.

Asake claimed that the project went according to schedule and that he is pleased with how everything turned out.

The YBNL act released ‘Mr Money with the Vibe’ on Wednesday, September 7 and it already debuted on UK and Nigerian charts.
