Afrobeats superstar Wizkid has achieved another remarkable streaming feat as his latest album, Morayo, surpasses Sounds from the Other Side to become his second most-streamed project on Spotify.
According to newly updated data, Morayo has now garnered 264 million streams, overtaking the 261 million streams accumulated by his 2017 album, Sounds from the Other Side. This milestone further solidifies Wizkid’s dominance in the global music scene.

Released in 2024, Morayo has captivated fans with its rich fusion of Afrobeats rhythms, smooth vocal delivery, and high-profile collaborations. The album’s widespread appeal continues to push the boundaries of the genre, reinforcing Wizkid’s reputation as one of Africa’s most influential artists.
Despite this new achievement, Morayo still trails behind Made in Lagos, which remains Wizkid’s most-streamed album to date. However, with its growing momentum, fans are now speculating whether Morayo could eventually challenge Made in Lagos for the top spot.
