    Wizkid has said that his children have caused him to change the lyrics in his music.

    In a recent interview with the Guardian UK, the Essence singer stated that he planned to modify the lyrics to his songs.

    The father of four remarked that because his kids listen to his songs, the words he uses in them must be carefully picked.

    The father of four revealed more details about his new album, ‘More Love Less Ego,’ adding that the next phase of his life would be to manage his ego and live eternally through his music.

    Wizkid said, ”Now I am more careful with what I put in my songs because my kids listen to my songs.”

    Wizkid recently saw the Bob Marley musical ‘Get Up, Stand Up!’ and stated that it reaffirmed what he wanted for his life.

    In his words;

    Alongside managing my ego, one other aim for this new chapter is to live forever. “Not physically, but for whatever I create to live forever.

    I recently went to see Bob Marley musical, ‘Get Up, Stand Up!’ I was like, ‘Yo, we’re watching a Bob Marley play and this guy died decades ago.’

    I didn’t even know that he died at 36. He did so much at a young age. It just reaffirms what I do; I have to keep taking this to the highest heights. Because I know one day they’re definitely going to create a play about me.
