Wizkid changes his mind on retirement as he marks his 33rd birthday
Nigerian Grammy award-winning singer, Wizkid, has had a change of heart regarding his retirement plans as he celebrates his 33rd birthday.
In a recent interview with Manny Norte from Capital Extra, Wizkid was reminded of his previous statement about having enough music to retire.
Contrary to his earlier stance, Wizkid made a U-turn and confirmed that he has upcoming projects in the works. He announced his intention to release a new track in the coming week and revealed that he is currently working on an album.
“Come on, my brother. And we are still recording music everyday [laughs]. So, imagine how much music I have now,” he said.
He added, “I got a new album ready, bro. New Wiz’s album. I’m dropping a new song next week. In a couple of days, mehn.”
Fans of Wizkid can now rejoice as the celebrated artist shows no signs of slowing down and continues to bless the world with his musical talent. Retirement is no longer on the horizon for Wizkid as he gears up to deliver more captivating music for his audience.
