Wizkid pays tribute to Davido during his Madison Square Garden performance.
Nigerian superstar, Wizkid got fans gushing after he gave a shoutout to Davido at his recent Madison Square Garden.
Recall that Wizkid sold out the 20k capacity Madison Square Garden (MSG) venue in New York City on Wednesday, November 16.
The event which was packed with excited fans saw the singer perform various of his hits songs to the delight of the audience.
One of the talking points of the event was when Wizkid gave a shoutout to his colleague, Davido.
The singer’s official disc jockey, DJ Tunez played two of Davido’s songs, “Dami Duro” and “If“.
It was well received by the crowd who went wild when the song was playing from the speakers.
Big Wiz also asked for lights to go off so as to pay tribute to Davido’s late son, Ifeanyi.

Recall that Mp3bullet.ng reported that Ifeanyi, the three-year-old son of Davido died in an apparent drowning in the swimming pool at the singer’s house.
The singer, whose real name is David Adeleke, was not at the residence in Lagos at the time his son, Ifeanyi, died on the 31st of October, 2022.
Neither parent has spoken publicly about their son’s death, which happened just two weeks after Ifeanyi’s third birthday.
Celebrities took to social media to mourn with the singer and even Wizkid had to postpone the release of the “More Love Less Ego” album by one week.
