In a recent interview, Grammy-winning artist Wizkid revealed who his favourite player is between Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
Imagine a renowned character in the entertainment industry also getting into a conversation with two legendary individuals in the world of football; that is exactly what happened when Wizkid disclosed his favourite players in Messi and Ronaldo.
Wiz, who made it clear that he was not very interested in football, chose Cristiano Ronaldo over Lionel Messi as the country’s captain.
In a 2021 interview with Red TV radio, Big Wiz responded to this and a number of other entertaining topics.
The radio interview resurfaced on social media as the debate on who the Greatest Footballer Of All Time (GOAT) between Ronaldo and Messi dominated social media as a result of the FIFA World Cup 2022.

“I was mad,” he said of himself in childhood, eyes glinting. “But I was quiet at home. You know, growing up as a man, I can’t really talk to my sisters about certain things and have certain conversations.”
