Wizkid Sets New BET Awards Record For All African Artists.
Following the latest announcement of the BET Awards nominees, Nigerian afrobeat award-winning artist Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, known professionally as Wizkid has broken a record for all African musicians.
Wizkid has established a new milestone for all African musicians following his latest nomination for the BET Awards 2023. The afrobeats musician became the African artist with the most BET Award nominations of all time, with nine nods.
The artist received a nomination for his part in Chris Brown’s popular song “Call Me Everyday” in the category of “Best Collaboration” at the 2023 BET Awards, which will be held on Monday, June 26, 2023, in the US.
