Nigerian Music Icon Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun popularly known as Wizkid has joined other celebrities in blasting the Federal Government following the proposed plans to Jail generator importers for 10 years.
The planned Jail term is coming after the Nigerian senate looks to ban generator use and importation in the country.
It will be recalled that former YBNL frontman Adekunle Gold earlier frowned at the proposed ban of importation of generators into the country.
Wizkid who went further to ask the Government to provide 24 hours electricity before thinking of placing a ban on the importation of generators wrote:
Fucking dick heads! Give us 24hr electricity first…Misplaced priorities
It will be recalled that the Nigerian Senate had on Wednesday proposed to impose a ban on the importation and usage of Generator sets across the country.
However, the proposal has been met by a lot of disapproval from Nigerians who are requesting that the Government should fix the epileptic power supply before thinking of imposing a ban on the importation and usage of generator set in the country.
