Wizkid Announces European Tour, Set to Thrill Fans After Three-Year Hiatus

Wizkid has thrilled fans with the announcement of his special European concert tour, ‘Morayo Live,’ set to take place in May 2025.
The Grammy-winning Nigerian superstar will perform in three countries—France, Germany, and the Netherlands—marking his first major tour in nearly three years.
The ‘Morayo Live‘ tour will see Wizkid headlining the 12,000-capacity Velodrom Arena in Berlin, Germany, on May 21, followed by a performance at the Ahoy RTM Stage in Rotterdam, Netherlands, on May 23.
He will then take center stage at the iconic 20,000-capacity Accor Arena in France on May 25.
The tour follows the release of Wizkid’s sixth studio album, ‘Morayo,’ which dropped in November 2024. The album features star-studded collaborations, including Afrobeats sensation Asake, French hitmaker Tiakola, French-Gabonese singer Anaïs Cardot, and American R&B stars Jazmine Sullivan and Brent Faiyaz.
Wizkid performed tracks from the album during several surprise appearances at the 2024 Detty December festivities.
With an impressive touring history—including selling out London’s O2 Arena for three consecutive nights—fans are eager to see Wizkid back on stage performing the hits that have solidified his status as one of Nigeria’s greatest musical exports.
Ahead of his 2025 tour, Wizkid is also in contention for his second Grammy Award at the upcoming 67th ceremony, where he is nominated in the ‘Best African Music Performance‘ category for his contribution to Asake’s ‘MMS.’ Fans eagerly await both his potential Grammy win and his return to the global stage.
