Wizard Chan announces changes to forthcoming album, delays release date
Nigerian artist Fuayefika Maxwell, widely known as Wizard Chan, has made an unexpected announcement regarding his much-anticipated album “Time Traveler.”
In an Instagram post on Friday, October 18, 2024, Wizard Chan revealed that two songs, “Water” featuring Victony and “Home” featuring Ayo Maff, will no longer be part of the album.
The singer explained that the decision was due to production and management issues beyond his control, clarifying that the change had nothing to do with his collaborations with Victony and Ayo Maff.
He praised both artists for their unwavering support throughout the project. “Please note that these changes have nothing to do with my brothers Victony & Ayo Maff, as they have been very supportive of this project,” Wizard Chan shared.
In light of these adjustments, the release of ‘Time Traveler‘ has also been delayed, with a new release date yet to be confirmed. Despite the setback, Wizard Chan expressed his gratitude to Victony and Ayo Maff and hinted at future collaborations. “Thank you, Vic. Thank you, Ayo. Until next time, when we can share these beautiful records with the world,” he wrote.
Fans will have to wait a bit longer for the full “Time Traveler” experience, but Wizard Chan’s assurance of the quality and eventual release of the tracks brings some hope for what’s to come.
