Rumours have been spreading lately about Korede Bello exiting his well known record label, Mavin Records that he was signed to.
As you all know, this label brought him to the limelight, and he has remained loyal to the label since he’s been with them.
Lately in the Nigeria music industry, artistes hardly finish their deals before floating their own record labels, while some do ignore contract renewals after little fame.
In the case of the Mr Vendor singer, reverse happens to be the case here, he’s not ready to quit repping the label anytime soon.
In Korede Bello’s words:
“I am a boss of my own and I don’t need to prove that to anyone. I also don’t need to prove that by leaving Mavin Records to set up my own label. With Mavin, we are stronger together. If you listen to my new song Mr Vendor, you will know that i’m still with Mavin.”
