    I used to think it’s so easy for a female to break into a market faster than a male. Because, most fields are controlled by males and “girls make the world go round.” Maybe I was right. BUT then, that’s not the case with the Nigerian music industry. Especially hip-hop.

    For a while we’ve been lacking females in the industry as a whole, but the invasion of the likes of Tiwa Savage, Simi, Niniola, Yemi Alade, has changed things. Imagine Simi having one of the best albums last year. Tiwa doing some of the hottest singles. BUT, that revolution didn’t touch rap.
