Nigerian singer, rapper, and songwriter Ahmed Ololade, known professionally as Asake, is back in the spotlight, this time intertwining his love for football with his music career.
Currently, on tour for his “Lungu Boy” album, Asake has gone viral for his recent interactions in France, particularly after receiving a Central Cee-themed Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) jersey from Moroccan right-back Achraf Hakimi.

The highlight of the occasion came when Asake and Central Cee met with Hakimi, who presented Asake with a new PSG jersey, part of a collaboration with Central Cee. The trio captured the moment in photos and videos that quickly trended across social media platforms.
This memorable encounter follows Asake’s recent concert at the O2, where he collaborated with Chelsea and England forward Jadon Sancho, further solidifying his growing influence in both music and football.

In other news, Asake has come under fire from social media users after an incident where he reportedly stepped on a fan’s iPhone 16 Pro Max, resulting in significant damage to the device.
The controversy began on September 29, 2024, when a fan named Adeoti shared a TikTok video capturing the moment he attempted to take a picture with Asake. In the footage, Asake is seen pushing the phone to the ground and stomping on it, much to the fan’s dismay.
Adeoti later posted, “@asakemusic You broke my iPhone 16 Pro Max. It’s not because they pissed off inside the nightclub that you are going to react like that towards a fan. Anyway, I still love you.”
