Fast-rising Nigerian singer-songwriter Khaid has released his latest project, B4R&W (Before Rich & Wacko), a four-track EP that captures different stages of his personal and artistic journey.
Alongside the project, the artist has also shared the lyrics to each song, including the closing track, “WACKO PLAY.”
Bringing the EP to an emotional conclusion, WACKO PLAY explores the complexities of love, heartbreak, and self-discovery.
Through heartfelt lyricism, Khaid reflects on a relationship marked by lingering emotions, acknowledging the difficulty of letting go while recognizing that some connections are no longer healthy.
The track balances vulnerability with confidence, using melodic vocals, witty wordplay, and expressive storytelling to portray the emotional conflict between holding on to the past and choosing personal peace.
