Vinícius Júnior has reaffirmed his commitment to Real Madrid, making it clear that he wants to extend his contract and cement his legacy at the Santiago Bernabéu.
Despite ongoing transfer speculation linking him to a world-record move to Saudi Arabia, the 24-year-old winger insists he is focused on staying at Madrid and making history with the club.

Speaking ahead of Madrid’s Champions League Round of 16 first-leg clash against Atletico Madrid, Vinícius addressed the rumors, stating: “I’m very calm because I have a contract until 2027, and let’s hope we can renew my contract as soon as possible.”
He expressed his love for the club, praising Carlo Ancelotti, Florentino Pérez, and his teammates, adding: “I’m happy here, playing with the best players in the world. I couldn’t be anywhere better than here. I’m here to make history, with everything this club has given me.”
Although reports suggest he rejected an initial contract proposal, Madrid’s management is working to ensure his new deal reflects his status as one of the world’s best players.
Vinícius also addressed the Ballon d’Or snub, where he was overlooked in favor of Rodri, prompting a boycott from Madrid players and officials.
He clarified his absence from the ceremony, explaining: “I did what the club told me to do. The club asked me to stay in Madrid, so I calmly stayed, and now we wait for the next one.”
While winning the Ballon d’Or was never a personal dream, he acknowledged that once he was close, he naturally wanted to win it.
However, his priority remains winning silverware with Madrid: “I have won two Champions Leagues so far, and I am here to win many more.”
With his contract talks ongoing, Madrid fans will be eager to see their star winger commit his future to the club and continue his journey toward becoming a club legend.
