Van de Sar reveals decision on returning to Man Utd.
Dutch football executive Edwin van der Sar has revealed his decision on returning to Man United. He has insisted he will not return to Manchester United, despite previously hinting he would be open to the move.
Erik ten Hag, who was hired by United as manager from Ajax, is in the process of modernizing their football department.
Working alongside Technical Director Darren Fletcher and Richard Arnold, who was appointed CEO at the beginning of the year, John Murtough is currently the Football Director.

Arnold’s counterpart at Ajax, Van der Sar, has been perennially linked with a return to Old Trafford.
That speculation has only intensified since Ten Hag swapped Amsterdam for Manchester, with the two enjoying a close working relationship.
But when asked about joining United, Van der Sar told the Times: “It’s never been that close. I have a good relationship with the board and I had a fantastic six years in Manchester, but I’m not finished here yet.”
