AC Milan forwarder Rafael Leao’s agents have to send a message to Chelsea ahead of the January transfer window as the player may have already decided on his future amid the Blues’ interest, according to Skysports.

Chelsea transfer target, Rafael Leao is yet to extend his stay at AC Milan with his current contract set to run out by 2024. AC Milan has already begun plans for renewal but it’s believed that Leao could turn down the offer amid a desire to leave for Stamford Bridge.

If Leao declines a contract extension, AC Milan will consider his exit options, although the financial terms may not be attractive for his prospective employers given the amount of time left on his deal.

The CIES has set the Portuguese’s current value at €80M, although AC Milan will undoubtedly try to get more for him given Chelsea’s interest.

The 23-year-old is reportedly interested in moving to Stamford Bridge and his agent has been in contact with the West Londoners since the beginning of October, according to Skysports.

Rafael Leao has netted 5 times this season for Milan across 14 games.
