The Champions League Team of the Season 2022–2023 has been made public on the Union of European Football Associations’ (UEFA) official Twitter account.
Seven members of Manchester City, who won the competition for the first time in their history, are on the team.
Following the end of the final between the Nerazzurri and eventual champion Manchester City on Saturday night, UEFA announced the inclusion of two Inter players in their annual team of the season.
Alessandro Bastoni and Federico Dimarco were chosen by UEFA, making up two of Simone Inzaghi’s recognizable back five.
Here is the 2022–23 Champions League Team of the Season:
Goalkeeper: Thibaut Courtois (Real Madrid).
Defenders: Kyle Walker (Manchester City), Ruben Dias (Manchester City), Alessandro Bastoni (Inter), Federico Dimarco (Inter).
Midfielders: John Stones (Manchester City), Rodri (Manchester City), Kevin De Bruyne (Manchester City).
Forwards: Bernardo Silva (Manchester City), Erling Haaland (Manchester City), Vinicius Junior (Real Madrid).
