UCL: Pep Guardiola responds after Manchester City failed to beat Copenhagen.
Manchester City boss, Pep Guardiola, has reacted to his side’s away Champions League 0-0 draw against Copenhagen on Tuesday.
At the Parken Stadium in Denmark, Guardiola watched as Man City failed to beat Copenhagen.
After a VAR call for a foul at the halfway point of the game, Sergio Gomez was given a straight red card, forcing Man City to play the remaining 60 minutes of the game with just 10 players.
Rodri’s strike during the encounter was disallowed by VAR and the Premier League champions saw a first-half Riyad Mahrez penalty saved after yet another VAR call.

However, Man City are now through to the Champions League knockout stages after the result against Copenhagen.
At the press conference that followed the game, Guardiola expressed his satisfaction with the result.
“(I am) Really satisfied – playing one hour 10 v 11 in Europe and not losing is really good,” Guardiola said.
“We are going to recover, prepare for the next games, go to Dortmund and try to get results there and against Sevilla, to finish first in the group stage.
“After the situations – goal disallowed, penalties, sending off – the game changed and especially playing 10 against 11 for an hour is so difficult, but we didn’t concede much.
“But the players gave absolutely everything – and, yeah, it’s a good point and we take it.”
